Perfect for breakfast. Simply delicious. Tastes and smells fantastic. French omelet recipe, courtesy to www.typesofchicken.com. You can find another two wonderful omelet recipes here.
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons of oil,
- 2 eggs, ½ cup of egg substitute,
- ¼ cup fat free milk,
- 1/8 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/8 teaspoon of pepper,
- ¼ cup fully cooked lean ham,
- 1 tablespoon of chopped onion,
- 1 tablespoon of chopped green pepper,
- ¼ cup of cheese.
Directions:
Put the oil in a pan and wait for it to get heated. Whisk the eggs, egg substitute, milk, salt and the pepper in a bowl. When the oil gets heated add the mixture in a pan, and make sure you are pushing the edges to the middle so every part of the mixture gets properly cooked. When the mixture gets harder and completely cooked sprinkle the ham, the cheese, the onion and the green pepper on the eggs and flip them in the middle, make sure they are completely covered before putting( sliding ) the French omelet into a plate.
We always recommend using fresh eggs. Some tips on how to check if your eggs are fresh can be found here
